Last week was full of laughter, sightseeing, and family with my sister-in-law and her family visiting our home. We had a great time, but all that activity wore me out!
This week sickness reigns at A Simple Twist of Faith. I have a nasty head cold I cannot shake, and now my oldest daughter has it too. Old Man Winter has decided to stick around in Tidewater Virginia, and we had a hard frost two nights in a row, and we live in Zone 8! Tomorrow will be more driving cold rain, and thunderstorms.
It's times like these, I just want to have a hot cup of tea, snuggle up in my down comforter. Or better yet, a quiet beach, with a tropical drink and a comfortable chair. Either way, a good book is in order. Does anyone have a suggestion? Nothing heavy, I am a push-over for historical fiction or a good mystery.
I need a little escape...
Not sure if I've recommended this to you yet, but have you read Charms for the Easy Life by Kaye Gibbs? A really easy to read book, beautifully written, and historical fiction. Wa-la!

Hope you can get some rest and recoup it is hard when you don't feel good.

Sickness: so sorry!
Photo of lovely, warm beach: boo hiss! I made it through the winter (I actually like snow), but this spring is driving me crazy!
Rest up and kiss the girls for us. :)
