Are rat snakes non-poisonous? I have come to the point where I would probably kill any snake that crosses my path, just to be sure, but you seem very calm about it. It was a learning experience for your daughters!

That is so sweet that Ladybug is reading to her sister!!

Happy 4th of July!!

Cool! Have a wonderful 4th of July! I think that is wonderful that Ladybug is reading to Bumblebee. I have tried that with my two girls, but there is just way too much competition. LOL! We were doing math flash cards today and they were competing to see who could get the answer the fastest. I have to say that my younger one has a head for math and that bothers her older VERY competitive sister. I love it!! The older one is good at everything so it is probably good to let the other one shine a bit. Have a great weekend!

Yes, rat snakes are non-poisonous. It was just laying in the trail working on his tan until Lady Bug came around the corner. We are squealed like girls! ;-) And we almost saw a fox there too. The ranger tried to point it out but he was behind us. By the time we turned around, it was gone. Thank you, Mary, for sharing the girls. It was a wonderful day. Get some rest now. Love, Gram
